The wonderful Farnborough Airshow public entry show will commence on the 19th – 20th July but before you book your tickets, here’s a little preview of what you have to look forward to.
The airshow is split into two categories; the public and trade events.
As exciting as the Farnborough Airshow is, it’s not only for the public – it provides superb opportunities for people in the industry as well as introducing fresh talent. Between the 14th and the 18th of July Farnborough Airshow will be open for trade, futures – young people hopeful of entering a career in aerospace – and other enthusiasts and industry experts.
This is then followed by the public weekend between 19th and 20th July 2014.
Feature Zones will be set up to aid exhibitors and visitors the chance to network with some of the most important professionals in each related industry. Zones include Space, Innovation and Intelligent systems aim to give insight to any Aerospace future technologies.
The Farnborough Airshow 2014 highlights include a series of conferences and events that are hosted by many professionals, including Aviation Week and ADS.
For example, a speaker will be available to offer a Space Conference, as well as a Meet The Buyer Conference which aims to enhance your Farnborough Airshow experience by introducing you to other key members of your industries community.
2014 brings many new enhancements for the crowd to enjoy. The Farnborough Airshow Live! will be placed in an arena right at the heart of the airshow. This brand new concept will be made up of interviews with pilots, air displays and live commentary all aiming to help educate and entertain you with aviation.
The newest feature at Farnborough Airshow is the GA (General Aviation) Park which aims to be a font of knowledge and resource for anyone, whether you are within the aviation industry or purely have an interest in it. The General Aviation Park will provide information about the latest developments in both private and recreational manufacturing from the leading distributors in the industry.
Throughout the show you will find Automotive and Retail Zones that are dedicated to the most recent automotive technology as well as offering commerce with the latest fashions, all from the leading brands and manufacturers in their categories.
Perhaps one of the most exciting areas of Farnborough Airshow 2014 is the new General Aviation Park. Confirmed exhibitors include Aerobility, a registered charity that offers the opportunity for disabled people to fly and participate in aviation based activities.
Elite Helicopters is also confirmed, and they will be offering pleasure flights on Friday, Saturday and Sunday that can give you a birds eye view of all the Farnborough Airshow action. These tickets can be booked in advance on the Elite Helicopters website.
Another confirmed exhibitor is Mistral, the sole UK and Eire distributor of Robin Aircraft. Mistral Aviation is renowned for its unique combination of long-distance cruising ability and short field performnce and they will be showcasing the latest Robin aircraft fuelled by Jet A1 or diesel.
The final exhibitor that has been confirmed on the Farnborough Airshow website is Sloane Helicopters. Sloane has been providing helicopter services for well over 44 years and support helicopter sales through to flight training, modifications, engineering and flight operations.
